Zeynoc Ledger

For practices

Every client in one place, and every figure you file checked first

Zeynoc Ledger is built around the practice, not a single business. You see what is waiting across your clients, the checks run every night, and the work you hand over comes out ready.

The practice overview for a demo practice: two clients whose bank feeds need attention, one critical and one a warning, each client's score from last night's health checks with its open findings, lowest first, and the next VAT deadlines with the days left and where each return has got to.

Health checks

Problems found at night, not at the deadline

Every client is checked each night, and each finding links to the line, bill or document it is about.

  • Possible duplicate bills and payments
  • Bank lines left unreconciled too long
  • Documents missing their attachment
  • VAT that does not look right for the line
  • A fixed asset register that no longer agrees with the balance sheet

Health checks are on every plan.

A client's health page: a score of 76 out of 100 from the night's checks and the open findings grouped by check, a bank payment unreconciled for over 30 days, two bills from one supplier for the same amount on the same day, and payments with VAT reclaimed and no receipt attached.

Client queries

Ask once. We chase.

Ask a client about a bank line or a document. Reminders go on the schedule you set until they answer, and you see what waits on each client at a glance.

  • Questions grouped by waiting, answered and closed
  • Reminders every few days, at the pace you choose
  • Clients answer in the product, inside what you grant them

Practice plan Client queries need client users, so they come with the Practice plan.

A client's queries waiting on the client: questions the practice has asked about a card payment on the bank statement, a supplier invoice approved twice, a hard to read document and the stock count, each with the date asked, whether a reminder has gone and the date an answer is due.

The year end

Hand the year end over without retyping it

The trial balance at the year end shows last year beside it, splits debits and credits the way year end software reads them, and downloads as PDF, Excel or CSV.

Statutory accounts and the Corporation Tax return are next in our plan. Until then you prepare accounts in your usual software from this export.

The trial balance at 31 March 2026 with 31 March 2025 beside it, debits and credits in separate columns for each year, grouped into assets, liabilities, equity, revenue and expenses, ready to publish.

Construction Industry Scheme

CIS from verification to the monthly return

Subcontractors are verified, the deduction is taken when they are paid, and the monthly return is drafted, nil months included. Statements go to each subcontractor as PDFs.

  • Verification recorded with the date and the rate HMRC gave
  • Deductions taken at payment, from the verification current that day
  • The monthly return drafted from a locked snapshot
  • On Professional and Practice

Live once HMRC approves it Until HMRC recognises the product for CIS Online, each return is filed by hand in HMRC online from the schedule we prepare.

Your team

The right access for every person in the practice

Roles, grants and a reviewer's sign off, with a record of every change.

  • Staff roles

Owner, manager, accountant, bookkeeper and reviewer, each allowed what the role needs and checked on every request. A bookkeeper prepares a return and cannot submit it.

  • Clients granted by name

Give a member of staff the clients they work on, and they see those clients and no others.

  • Reviewer sign off

Work goes to a reviewer before it goes out, and the sign off is recorded against it. On the Practice plan.

  • Every change on record

Who changed what, when, and what it was before, in an audit trail that shows if it has been altered.

Bring us one client and see it through a month

Tell us about your practice and the clients you look after. A person on the team reads every request and replies by email.
